Ok what you are looking at is a continuation of my previous post (JLA Build A Scene - Batman & Wonder Woman) This is part 2 of the JLA Build-a-Scene Statue this month, with the addition of part two of the statue, featuring Superman, Black Canary, and the torso of Red Tornado! That's right, Red Tornado is also a bonus feature for this awesome statue.

Based on Ed Benes's legendary cover of Justice League of America #7 stands tall as it becomes a multi part statue! Sold in three parts, each part features two of the world's greatest superheroes and includes a piece of a bonus Red Tornado figure. (To fully assemble Red Tornado, all three Build-a-Scene statues are needed.)

All the pieces slide together to make up a complete cover scene in striking 3-D! Marvel Studios and WGA Sign Interim Agreement!

Marvel Studios, a subsidiary of Marvel Entertainment, Inc., and the Writers Guild of America (WGA) announced today that they have reached an interim comprehensive agreement that will put writers immediately back to work on the Marvel Studios development slate. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed."We're very excited about our summer releases, 'Iron Man' and 'The Incredible Hulk,' and look forward to resuming work with writers on our future projects including 'Captain America,' 'Thor,' 'Ant-Man,' and 'The Avengers,'" said Marvel Studios Chairman David Maisel.

"Marvel Studios' signing of an interim agreement with the Writers Guild is more good news for our membership," said WGAE President Michael Winship and WGAW President Patric M. Verrone. "Marvel is committed to fairly compensating their writers and now they can move forward with their planned production schedule."Marvel Studios recently launched its independent live-action film studio to develop, produce, and fully finance Marvel movies, which will include two of this summer's most anticipated releases - Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk. Directed by Jon Favreau, Iron Man will be released by Paramount Pictures on May 2, 2008, and stars Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges and Gwyneth Paltrow. The Incredible Hulk, which will be released by Universal Pictures on June 13, 2008, is directed by Louis Leterrier and stars Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth, and William Hurt.

In cooperation with other studios, Marvel previously produced a long succession of hits, including the "Spider-Man," "X-Men," and "Fantastic Four" franchises, Ghost Rider, and Daredevil.The WGA recently entered into interim agreements with The Weinstein Company, United Artists, Lionsgate, Worldwide Pants, Spyglass Entertainment, MRC, Jackson Bites, Mandate Films, and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment.

It was a mere devastating shocking development as i was driving this morning and got a Message from Kara, "Heath Ledger is Dead!" I quickly got in, and went online and did a quick search on yahoo...

Yes Ledger Fans..... he was found dead in his apartment in New York. He was only 28 years old.
Ledger was found by a housekeeper who had gone to wake him for an appointment with a masseuse in the Soho apartment, according to New York Police Department spokesman Paul Browne. "Pills were found in the vicinity of the bed," Browne said, "This is being looked at as a possible overdose, but that is not confirmed yet." The medical examiner's office planned an autopsy on Wednesday, spokeswoman Ellen Borakove said.

He was declared dead at about 3:30 p.m., Browne said.

Also don't forget, Heath Ledger fans will get to see him in his last Movie. HL did finish filming The Darknight sequel to Batman Begins (2005), Heath Ledger...The Joker...

Word has it that it is Confirmed that Weta Workshop will design the costumes for Happy Feet director George Miller's Justice League adaptation. That's right, i said "Weta!"

The film's Wellington-based American producer, Barrie Osborne, who produced Peter Jackson's "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy, confirmed Weta Workshop's involvement. "They are doing all the costumes and they're doing a brilliant job," he said from Sydney, where filming will start soon. "A lot of people thought it would be too hard, that you can only make those things in Hollywood." No budget has been announced for the long-awaited movie, which would bring together a range of superheroes including Superman, Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and of course the elusive Green Lantern.

Weta Workshop specialises in physical effects such as costumes, props, models and movie sets, and Weta Digital does computer-generated visual effects. Osborne said it was possible Weta Digital could also be involved in the film, based on the DC Comics series, but that would depend on the studio's commitments to other projects.

"George Miller has a great take on the material, so it elevates it to something that's not a comic-book movie," he said.

New Hulk On The Block

Ok..here's the deal. They have been alot of Iron Man Movie and Batman hype going on out there, but very few and little about the menacing Big Green Machine of Destruction, yes that's right, im talking about The Incredible Hulk. Ok so the first Movie (Ang Lee) was a flop, but hopefully with the proper casting and skillfull writers, it seems to me that this movie is actually gonna turn up great. Well for the Hulk's fans especially. Don't get me wrong yeah, being a Fan of the Hulk, i could still pretty much watch the previous Movie and the old shows. I still enjoyed it as a fan.

[Lou Ferrigno & Ang Lee's Version of the Hulk]

From what we gather, This new version of the movie will most likely follow bits of pieces of the old Bill Bixby version of the Hulk. For me i would agree, i enjoyed and grew up watching him shred his clothes in every scene that he transforms to the Hulk (Lou Ferrigno). And at every end of the show, and at that time, (they used the name David Banner for some reason) they will play this really sad theme song . The piano piece was composed by Joseph Harnell (i'm sure you remember how it goes) and was used over the end credits to represent Banner's never-ending search for inner peace.

So now the new movie is directed by Louis Leterrier and stars Edward Norton, Liv Tyler, Tim Roth and William Hurt. What a big cast! Well see how far does Hollywood need to go to bring back The Incredible Hulk back into the Movies. Let's all wish them the best of luck, and hopefully it's something for the fans not to regret about watching it in the movies. Can you imagine how the CGI works? (SPOILER ALERT!! Below is the Hulk's concept art, He looks really mean and cool)

Not only Hulk is making his comeback to the scenes, but SEGA Games is also making a comeback of their own, They have signed up to do the Iron Man Movie game as well, Signed up for Thor and also the great Captain America. It's that time of the year again, we start off with the Action Figures to come, have a look on what to expect, as usual we are again on top of our game, keeping you updated with the latest Action Figure news! Have a look at this fantastic line, straight out of the Alex Ross and Jim Krueger Justice Volumes. If you have read it, you have more respect for it..i've only managed to complete my volume collection just last december, it was well worth reading it. I would recommend you that book..Thanks Lex!

Straying away there...anyways, as an inspiration from the book, this awesome line up is the continuation of Alex Ross Series, This cool series of JUSTICE consists of the ever so hott Supergirl, The sleeky sexy Batgirl, The Sadistic Toyman and The Cool Calm Collected Captain Cold. As part of last year's trivia question of Thor, I am please to let everyone know what the result is. Below is the number of votes that we got, we will try to keep this part of the site to be well maintain weekly from now on.

We got 2 that votes for Smoke Bombs, 2 for Joker Venoms and for the Jackarangs, they got 7 votes, well then, they were correct, Joker have never came up with Jackarangs weapons to use at Batman. But then again Batman would have his Batarangs to counter attack him.
