Watchmen Action Figures

[Pics taken from Michael Crawford's Review]

Probably one of the many great movies i've seen this year. I know this post should have been posted earlier, but its more fun to do it when we actually can. Plus, i just saw the Watchmen movie today again, and i'm abit more curious about the action figure line, so lets get up to speed with it.

Watchmen action figure line was produced by DC Direct (The Coolest) which only makes collecting from DC Direct more worth it, Even after seeing the movie, and these action figures, it got me thinking whether i should jump in and get me these lines, they look pretty impressive. But don't take my word for it, this is just coming from someone who has an obsession with collecting action figures, im sure you all have these problem.

Now these Watchmen action figures came in 2 wave series based on the Movie. 1st Wave consists of Nite Owl II, Ozymandias, Rorschach, Silk Spectre II. Wave 2 has The Comedian, Dr. Manhattan, Nite Owl I, and Silk Spectre I. Each action figure measures 6 1/4 to 6 3/4-inch tall and feature multiple points of articulation, presentation bases and are packaged in a 4-color window box. These figures are available as of February 2009. Do you think its still late? There's always e-Bay.

Well there you go, now check out the packaging shown below, looks like the same packaging we all love made by DC Direct, it really is a trademark from them and it does look nice when displaying on your shelves, just makes you itch and be more tempted to open them up.

So last but not least, so you see now why do i want to jump into these figures? No? Well for one, the detail on these figures are just simply amazing, and its a good thing they covered up Dr.Manhattan private parts, makes it more easier on the eye. Articulation is always but a low for DC Direct, but maybe thats because their not just "Toys", their more of a collectibles by all standards, I must admit, my favorite figures here are probabbly Silk Spectre II, Nite Owl II, Rorschach and The Comedian. Why? Coz we think it's a cool line to add to your collection.

Hope you guys enjoyed it!
