NECA Harry Potter

Reviewed by Michael Crawford

You might have noticed that my last few reviews have been later than usual. That's what happens when I get behind, but I thought I was getting caught up again. Tonight I was going to review the new Land of the Dead figures from SOTA, and had it all done and ready to go...until I came across the NECA Harry Potter figures at lunch today. I was quite surprised to find them, assuming they wouldn't be on pegs for another month at least, maybe two. I grabbed all five, and spent the last couple hours getting the review together. Don't worry, the LoD figures will be here for Sunday night.

I really wanted to love this line. They look fantastic in the package, but there were enough nits by the time I got done to bring their scores down. Not the least of the nits is the $16 price tag these have on the pegs (unlike the $13 you can find them for at online stores). But each figure had something weird going on once I had them out of the plastic prisons that none scored as high as I first anticipated. Still, these are the best HP figures we've gotten so far, and certainly a solid start to the line. You can find all the reviews at the usual:

Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend!
