Make Your Home A Bat Cave

Written by GL

Just when you thought it was cool to redo your room with all those rare action figures and memorabilia, the cool dudes at Alter Ego comics have put up for purchase possibly one of the coolest props ever.

I am more than proud to present to all of you the Batman Shakespeare Remote Control bust - a collectible even featured in Batman Begins. This little thing stands a whopping 21 1/2 inches tall, exactly like the original. It's made of roto-cast resin and finished in metalized antique bronze paint.

Tip the head back and it actually, totally, simply works! You can plug anything into it, from lamps, to your TV, to your stereo, even your microwave - just use your imagination! The bust works as a switch to turn your appliance on and off! With some minor re-wiring (and a house visit from a qualified electrician and contractor), it could even be used to open the door to your own secret passage! Expertly duplicated from the original by master sculptor Scott Fensterer, this is the ultimate addition to you home that's sure to attract the chicks. Maybe. No promises.

But before you start your ordering, check that bank account first because it comes at a very nice price of US$ 294.99 (or B$451.44). Why do cool things aways have to make us broke?
