The League Is Official

[The Justice League: unstoppable]
Written by GL

Rumors were circulating that a movie adaptation of the Justice League were in the works. Now, you don't have to worry about it any more. It's official.

DC Comics' Justice League is going to happen.

Warner Bros. push ahead with a big screen adaptation of your favorite league of heroes, with George Miller (director of Happy Feet) on board. The project, is in the starting phases of casting, and is considered a priority for the studio company. This movie is to be the ultimate driving superhero show of 2009.

Because a lot of other superhero projects are in the works, making the film flow is going to be a complicated process. With Superman and Batman to be shown in the movie, co-ordination with other movies starring these characters is needed.

Word on the street is that the next installment of Superman is being put on hold for the Justice League movie. Warner Bros. is so keen on the Justice League script recently drafted by Kieran and Michele Mulroney.

The Justice League movie will likely feature the characters of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash and Aquaman. But no Green Lantern *sigh*. Casting the actors for their roles is going to be just as important (amidst rumors that Brandon Routh and Christian Bale will not be Superman and Batman respectively in this show).

How long have you waited for this movie to finally start rolling? How many years?
