Can You Say, 'I Love Marvel !'

Ladies and Gentlemen; if you fancy yourselves a Marvel Entertainment fan, then this blog entry is totally for you. Marvel Entertainment has released its 3rd Quarter earnings for 2007 and included its updated Marvel Studios list of projects. Look and drool at the upcoming stuff we can expect to blowing alot of money on:

The feature film projects being developed are, even though partial:
  • Iron Man, Marvel - May 2, 2008 release
  • The Incredible Hulk, Marvel - June 13, 2008 release
  • Ant-Man, Marvel - Writer and director have been found
  • Captain America, Marvel - Writer found
  • Thor, Marvel - Writer found
  • The Avengers, Marvel - Writer found
Totally licensed character feature films to come are:
  • Punisher 2, produced be Lionsgate - 2008 release
  • X-Men Origins: Wolverine, produced by Fox - Director found, May 1, 2009 release
Animated TV projects are:
  • Fantastic Four - 26, 30-minute episodes; to show internationally.
  • Spider-Man - In development now; for Spring 2008 release.
  • Wolverine and the X-Men - 26, 30-minute episodes in development; Fall 2008 release.
  • Iron Man - 26, 30-minute episodes in development; Fall 2008 release.
  • Hulk - In development.
Animated stuff to go Direct-to-DVD projects are:
  • Next Avengers, produced by Lionsgate - Targeted July 2008 release
  • Hulk Smash, produced by Lionsgate - Targeted October 2008 release
  • Thor, produced by Lionsgate - Targeted April 2009 release
And finally, video game releases (note that release dates are controlled by the publishing company):
  • Sega, Iron Man - Targeted 2008
  • Sega, The Incredible Hulk - Targeted 2008
And let's not forget that there is also a Spider-Man musical in development, aimed at taking over Broadway. I wouldn't hold my breath about it but if that's the way that superheroes are going, who am I to judge, right?
