I Know I know, you've probably seen it, and i know i'm late for this post, but hey just a thought of posting this, it's been my favorite TV show for the past 7 to 8 years now, (Talk about being biased), and since it's the only TV show with relevance to a real super hero. Smallville Season 8 has launch the first episode "Odyssey" last Thursday.
Only to find out, where was "Supergirl" ? Well apparently, along side with Kristen Kreuk & Michael Rosenbaum (Which has already left Smallville), Laura Vandervoort who plays "Kara" in the previous Season 7, will not be returning as a series regular in Season 8. When we last saw Kara, in "Arctic," she was somewhere within the Phantom Zone. At Least Erica Durance & Allison Mack is still around *Phew*
"They announced the cast... and I'm not a part of it," Vandervoort told in anTV Guide Interview. "We were all surprised when they chose not to bring me back as a regular, but I'm sure I'll be back for one or two [episodes]!"
Vandervoort seems to have a good attitude about the whole thing. "The show is about Clark Kent, and I was honored to be a part of it. I mean, my character became more than it was supposed to be. She ended up sticking around the entire season" So expect to see her re-appear in the future shows to come.

Yes, it's true. Aaron Eckhart says goodbye to Batman. At the press day for his upcoming indie film Towelhead, ComingSoon.net/Superhero Hype! talked to the actor who portrayed Harvey Dent/Two-Face in The Dark Knight. He told us he's definitely not signed on for another film and confirmed his character is dead.
Eckhart laughed about how he tried to ask if there was a chance he was coming back and was good-humored about the deadly fate of Dent.
CS/SHH!: Is Harvey Dent alive? Aaron Eckhart: No. He is dead as a door nail.
CS/SHH!: So he's not coming back? Eckhart: He ain't coming back baby!
CS/SHH!: I was hoping he would. Eckhart: No. I asked Chris [Nolan] that question and he goes, "You're dead" before I could even get the question out of my mouth. "Hey Chris, am I?" "You're dead!" Alright, cool.
CS/SHH!: That's not a problem in comic book movies. You could still come back. Eckhart: I think in contract negotiations it's a problem.
CS/SHH!: So you were never signed on for another film? Eckhart: No, I'm not coming back. I think unfortunately, Heath [Ledger] was supposed to go on and that didn't work out. I'm nobody. I'm a cog. I have no say over this sort of stuff. I'm sure that there's so many other characters that they could whip together. I heard Angelina Jolie was going to be Catwoman or something like that. I thought that was a great idea. I'd like to be in that one.
CS/SHH!: It must be gratifying that so many people responded to your character. Eckhart: Yeah, I dig it. Write your Congressman. I like that for the first time in my career I'm getting fan mail from kids and 8-year-olds. "My name is Bill. I really liked the film." I've never had that before. I think that's fun. I think someone told me they're going to be Harvey Two-Face for Halloween which is cool. I said to two kids the other day, "Did you see Batman yet?" Then I come to find out like two seconds later they've seen it four times. People are really going back to see it. My parents saw it I think 12 [times] so far. They're sick that it's going out of the theaters.
CS/SHH!: Do they normally see your movies 12 times? Eckhart: I don't know about 12, but they like to go see the movies. They like to go see the audience. They like to tell people that I'm in the movie like popcorn people.

Not only did Batman movie came out with a sequel this year, but so did Hellboy, one of this years hot summer's movie was undoubtedly has got to be Hellboy, The Golden Army. After an amazing sequel to the first Hellboy movie, will the Hellboy fans get a 3rd sequel?
In an article at Variety, Guillermo del Toro says that a third "Hellboy" movie is not out of the question, but it would have to wait a long time due to his commitments to "The Hobbit" films and more:
Meanwhile, del Toro is awaiting word on whether U will embrace a follow-up to "Hellboy 2: The Golden Army." The big-budget film opened in the heat of summer and fell short of blockbuster status in the U.S. but has performed well overseas.
"I think they'll decide when the last euro hits the piggybank," del Toro said. "We laid the groundwork to have a magnificent third act. I’d like to return to an action franchise with 60-year-old actor Ron Perlman, because he’ll be scratching at that age when I get to it."
Langley said the studio is interested and may work with del Toro to add a TV series and online segments to broaden the following before making the series finale.
Deadline Hollywood Daily has added on that director Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire have apparently signed on the dotted line for Spider-Man 4, which the studio is targeting for a May 2011 release. DHD adds that there's no deal for Kirsten Dunst to return as Mary Jane Watson yet, but the character will be featured and the studio would not recast her.
As for the baddie in the fourth picture, the site says that principal photography doesn't start until the fall of 2009 and that once we find out who the villain we'll know who is playing it. Naturally, speculation would put Dylan Baker's character Dr. Curt Connors/The Lizard at the head of the line, but who knows?
According to the site, "the studio is trying to figure out if it can feasibly shoot Spider-Man 4 and 5 at the same time because doing that is so cost effective and 'it wasn't so easy to get everybody back together.'"
DHD also says that Sony has hired two screenwriters to pen the new script for the Spidey spin-off Venom.
Is this all accurate? We don't know, We'll have to wait and see
Rumors has it that Nicholas Cage will most likely to return to do a Ghost Rider sequel, Although there isn't official yet, but during an interview, Mr.Cage slip out some interesting info for the next upcoming Ghost Rider Sequel ;
Cage:
"Yes, actually, had a nice meeting with the studio about 3-months ago, and we talked about going international with that character. Taking him into Europe, having him go on a motorcycle tour through Europe, and he's connected with the church, if you can believe that. So it sort of has elements to it that are very much in the zeitgeist, with "The Da Vinci Code" and things like that. "
After a previous post that i mentioned that Superman will get a reboot in Hollywood blockbuster movies. Here's what the famous writer Mark Millar had to say in an awesome interview with him. Check out the video to find out more.
