[ A Great Tale of Origins Piece ]Yes that's correct Wonder Fans! Wonder Woman Animated Direct to DVD (or Blueray) is now out! Wonder Woman is a 2009 direct-to-video animated film focusing on the superheroine Wonder Woman from The DC Universe. The plot of the movie is based on George Perez' reboot of the character, specifically the "Gods and Mortals" story arc. It is the fourth in the line of DC Universe Original Animated Movies released by Warner Premiere and Warner Bros. Animation. The previous releases were Superman: Doomsday, Justice League: The New Frontier, and Batman: Gotham Knight. The film is directed by Lauren Montgomery, who directed the second act of Superman: Doomsday and did storyboard work for Justice League: The New Frontier, and written by Gail Simone and Michael Jelenic. As with all previous releases in this line of films, it is being produced by acclaimed DC Comics animation veteran Bruce Timm. I would have to say that this is one of the greatest DC Animated movie that has ever been made. An Epic!!
