Tell Me, Is it Me Your Looking for?

[ One ugly MODOK ]

Written by Kal-El

MODOK stands for (Mobile/Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing). Scientists at Advanced Idea Mechanics (AIM) created MODOK to analyze and probe the Cosmic Cube and to improve the organization's productivity in its scientific endeavors, while still being subservient to the higher echelons of the organization.

To that end they mutagenically altered one of their technicians of average intelligence, George Tarleton, into the super intelligent being, MODOC (Mobile/Mental Organism Designed Only for Computing). These scientists unwisely did not take into consideration the theory that superior ability naturally leads to superior ambition.

It did not take long for MODOC to turn on his former masters and overthrow AIM. He adopted the new acronym for his title: MODOK (Mobile/Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing) at this time as he was more of a ruthless killer than a bean counter in his own estimation. MODOK and AIM frequently came into conflict with the Avengers and many other superheroes.

Thanks for trying guys. Try the new one from Donald Blake.

Another Dose Of Perry

[Langella: still cool enough to appear in superhero movies]
Written by GL

I have seen Frank Langella on and off in movies for many, many years. It was a cool surprise that he was seen in Superman Returns; where he played a more toned and business like Perry White, as opposed to the attitude of the old one from the Reeves era.

Reporters have been asking if he'd be reprising his role as the editor in chief at Clark Kent's day job The Daily Planet. And he confirms it, and then some. Warner Bros. was smart enough to get Langella on contract.

"Yeah, I've got two more to do," he told us, though he doesn't know when the next movie might be, "I don't know when the next Superman is going to be. My guess is that it probably won't be until next year."

Awesome. That's probably two more to expect in our lifetime.
