The House of El

People are most wondering about this blog that I started, ever thought about stuff that Superheroes could do? Gifts that they have or shall I say Powers that they have for the use of good? The adventures that they have. When I was growing up, all the powers and adventures are only in the comics and movies that they made in the 70’s and 80’s. Not so much Media activity was shown in the 90’s.


But since the new millennium, we started to experience the coming back to life of the comic’s superhero world. It was DC Comics or Marvel, it doesn’t matter, I am a fan of their work, stories, writers, creators, actors, it doesn’t matter. Finally the Comic to Movie is building up slowly, year by year. Enough to drive me insane.

When I was growing up, we use to talk about how cool it would be to see the Xmen characters in a movie. Back then we could only read the comics, play the games on consoles, watch the Saturday morning cartoons and still a very limited amount of Action Figures to collect. I remember the day when I first saw X men the Movie. It was mind blowing. I thought that was insane, then I heard they were also working on several other movie projects such as Spiderman, Punisher, Catwoman, Dare Devil, Superman, Batman. It was just a matter of time to see it to believe it. But when movies came out, after each time pondering what the outcome will be, after seeing it, I will always be amazed.

I am a Fan of All superhero characters, But i only have one true love and respect for. The Man of Steel..Superman. When the latest Superman Movie came out. It was all the more hectic buld of anxiety for me. Wanting to know alot of facts, i was browsing around to see what could the movie look like but without having to ruin the movie for my self, then when the world premiering of Superman Returns, I went all out..As if that was enough, i was waiting for the Game to come out too, all though alot of gamers rated the game a poor 4.0, Regardless, it wasn't going to stop me in any way..I am a true believer...

I Constantly talk to my friends and peers about how cool it was to have to know more people that can talk about the superhero character, once we start talking about Marvel or DC superheroes, Time will fly and leaving the rest of your friends in the dust. But now almost any TV shows are talking about Heroes, talking about Movies that is up and coming to theatres. We'll all becoming one in this world of Superheroes. I dedicate this site to my Lovely and understanding Girl, She is truly an amazing woman whom I love and would like to spend the rest of my life with, it’s amazing that she could also withstand the stuff I talk to her about Superheroes, if you’re reading this. I Love you so much.

And also to all the Superhero fans, this blogspot will be dedication for all those guys that has very limited option for viewing or finding stuff online to feed their satisfaction on Superhero Power Hunger. People who crave for other stuffs like OST, Action Figues, Movies News, Digital Artworks plus many more to come. I will try to update as much as possible.

Spiderman 3

Spiderman 3 Movie will hit the theatres this coming May 2007. After being away from the screens, Spidey once again will have to save New York City from Newer villains again. We've seen the previous two movies. From his high school boy origins to the Amazing Spiderman.

Recap of Previous 2 Spiderman movies:

Peter Parker, who was once a school boy, who was raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May Parker who lived in Forest Hills neighborhood of Queens, New York. During a school science trip, while taking photos, Young Peter Parker was bitten by a radioactive spider only to give him strength and abilities, hence like a spider; Peter was able to crawl up walls, swinging from roof top to another. This is his destiny, to become Spiderman, Down with the death of his Uncle Ben, Peter initially wanted to use his so found new ability to take revenge on his Uncle's death, but was realized that vengeance was only to be served by Justice. On the second half of the story, Peter moved in to an apartment in Manhattan with School mate and best friend, Harry Osborne. Harry was a good friend of Peter, but Peter wasn't the only one with Big Secret, Harry was back already dating Mary J. Watson. A Girl next door to Peter back in the neighborhood, Peter's long love crush was suddenly taken by his own best friend Harry.

Harry's father, Norman Osborne was a rich billionaire of OSCORP Industry. A Billionaire that failed to gain control of his own company, With Top secret project experiments shut down by the Government, Frustrated by the shutdown of his superhuman technology, Norman decided to use himself as his own experiment, which resulted in a bad experiment gone wrong.

Norman now has the strength of Ten Man, agile abilities but also gained insanity. With his own creation, the gadgets made for the project that failed, he uses it for revenge on the stock holders and government, with hatred, and he killed them all during the festival in the centre of New York as the GREEN GOBLIN.

Spiderman made his debut, by saving MJ, The People and Lastly New York.
After defeating The Green Goblin, Harry believes that Spiderman killed his father.

In the end, MJ confesses her true feelings for Peter. Peter being Spiderman could not tell her how much he truly feels about her. But in the end. He leaves MJ and decided to be friends.

In Spiderman 2 was more on how Peter is struggling with his dual live as a student and being Spiderman. It’s started with Peter working as a Pizza delivery boy and at the same time saving lives as Spiderman, Struggle continues even more when knowing that MJ was getting engaged with James Jonah’s son.

Feeling stress, Spiderman too portrays that Spiderman is human too; his web doesn’t work when his feelings are down and stressed out. With his powers fluctuating, he decided to give up the Spiderman life, and just be Peter Parker. Focuses on studies and doing his homework.

While doing a research on Fusion energy, under Dr. Otto Octavius. An experiment gone wrong, with Tentacles stuck to his rear back and got no control over them. Doc Ock was now a new threat to New York. While Peter was confessing his true feelings to MJ, Doc Ock decided to kidnapped MJ in order to lure the Spiderman for captivity for Harry Osborne. Harry by now believing that it was actually Spiderman that killed his father. Harry found out that Spiderman is actually Peter Parker. But Peter had bigger problems ahead of him, To Save MJ from Doc Ock. Spiderman once again is victorious.

In the end of Spiderman 2, MJ found out who Peter really is, and decided not to get married but instead to be with Peter Parker.

Ghost Rider Roast it's way to the theatres

So we did go to the movies right after a quick diner at the mall food court, I was feeling excited as always, anticipating how good the movie was, thinking about how would it be like, to know the true story of Ghost Rider and to actually see it!! I mean c'mon, Imagine his whole Skeleton Head is on Fire!!!

So When the time comes to 9.30pm, the Mall cinema was packed with Bikers, but not with lots of Fans of the Ghost Rider. One of my friend came out to greet me there and asked me if I was a biker movie fan..My reply was that i wasn't a Biker fan, I Like Bikes yeah, but I'm not paying 7 dollars just to watch a Biker Flick (No Offense) but I'm here because i'm a Big fan of the whole Comic to Film. I mean C'mon..It's GHOST RIDER!!

Okay, I'm not a Big fan of The Ghost Rider, My brother was tho, so i ended up reading a few comics of his, Apparently, this movie is based on 1973-1983's version of Ghost Rider (Johnny Blaze), the one's i read about was Daniel Ketch. He was at that time my ghost rider, Johnny Blaze at that time was like a angel sidekick, looking out for Daniel Ketch(Ghost Rider).
This Movie was based on the early life of Johnny Blaze, he made a deal with the Devil / Demon (Mephisto).

For Starters, The Actors were okay, i love Mr.Cage's acting, i guess he lived to the charcther's role, but again i wasnt reading the comics, but when he was Ghost Rider, He did the all time trademark of Ghost Rider, they introduced the "Penance Stare" That was Awesome!
What i thought that was Overly done with the characther, was that he points out too much, it was overkill, but i thought since that was the famous point and stare, Why not!!

CG was fantastic for this movie, it was totally awesome, but for some scene they made it quite funny, for example, the first time Johnny Blaze turned into Ghost Rider, His skeleton head was slightly smaller than his broad shoulders. But gradually into the movie, Special effects were improved and it appears to be better. Well done on that.

On that Note, I gotta hand it to you, The Bike was the most beautiful thing i ever so, Imagine riding with flames coming from the wheels, that's just Crazy!! The Transfromation from the Normal bike to the Hell Cycle was just mind blowing. Great design work there.
My favorite part of the movie was when Sam Elliot "Care-Taker" had a scene with Nick Cage, It was sort of the "Passing the Torch" sort of moment, then they went for "One Last Ride".

Storyline was good, i like the whole two demons of satan fighting against each other,along with elements of the world, Earth, Wind, Water and lastly Fire (Ghost Rider). The Story starts of with Johnny Blaze's young life, where he learned to do stunts along side with his father, then only to find out that his father is dieing due to cancer, he made a deal with the devil, only known as Mephisto, but in the movie, Mephisto was called "Mephistopheles".
Overall, . I like the storyline, I like the Actors, I Love Ghost Rider, I Love Comics. so without being bias..I rated this movie an 8 out of 10.

This Year we kick off The Comics to Movie Column with GHOST RIDER.

Tonight at 9.45pm at the Mall Cinema, well be watching the much anticipated Ghost Rider the Movie for the very first time. Gonna be exciting.

Story Plot: In order to save his dying father, young stunt cyclist Johnny Blaze sells his soul to Mephistopheles and sadly parts from the pure-hearted Roxanne Simpson, the love of his life. Years later, Johnny's path crosses again with Roxanne, now a reporter, and also with Mephistopheles, who offers to release Johnny's soul if Johnny becomes the fabled, fiery Ghost Rider, a supernatural agent of vengeance and justice. Mephistopheles charges Johnny with defeating the despicable Blackheart, Mephistopheles’ nemesis and son, who plans to displace his father and create a new hell even more terrible than the old one.
